  • Ultrasonic welding, bonding and or assembly
  • Ultrasonic transducers
  • Power supplies and generators
  • Specialized cleaning systems
  • Tabletop cleaning units
  • Cleaning tanks
  • Chemistries/cleaning agents
  • Specialized ultrasonic assembly systems

Crest's involvement in such a broad array of ultrasonic sectors provides substantial benefits for our worldwide customers.  There is broad sharing of technology and materials throughout all organizations.  Additionally, the global service network is amongst the best in the world due to the strategic placement of these entities throughout the globe.

Crest annual sales exceed $100MM and continue to climb in difficult economic times.  Our success as an operating group is a direct result of our conjoined business strategy with our subsidiaries and the undeniable advantages of Crest machines over competitors. Although Crest leverages several patents, the company continues to keep pricing competitive against inferior machines and components.

Over 960 employees work throughout the world for Crest Companies.  With thousands of customers in over 100 countries, our service infrastructure can not be matched by any of our competitors, either public or private.

Crest is headquartered in Trenton, New Jersey with a state of the art 65,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Penang, Malaysia.  From these two locations, Crest is able to meet the rigorous production demands.  The company was started in 1961.  The CEO of Crest Ultrasonics and The Crest Group Inc. is J. Michael Goodson.  Under his vision and leadership, Crest has transformed into one of the largest providers of Ultrasonic Cleaning Systems and Chemistries in the world.

Crest Ultrasonics is a member of a number of professional societies, including the Ultrasonic Industry Association (UIA), the Alliance for Cleaning Technologies (ACT), the International Society for Hybrid Microelectronics (ISHM), and the International Disk Drive Equipment and Materials Association (IDEMA).

A common ideology for all component manufacturers

Crest Ultrasonics is a fine example of a company whose vertical integration serves to provide overall machine or component cost reduction, and improvement in the overall quality levels.  This has provided our clients with substantially better ultrasonic machines and components.  How vertical is Crest?  Our holding company, the Crest Group Inc.  designs and manufacturers all performance piezo ceramics through Piezo Kinetics Inc, located in Bellefonte, PA. These piezo ceramic components are the very foundation of all of our ultrasonic cleaning devices that are manufactured.

Additionally, all transducers are designed and fabricated in Germany by Martin Walter AG.  These transducers are recognized as the best in the world due to their higher operating frequencies and stronger amplitude.  These systems feature ULTRASONIC HEADS on both side of the transducer, provided the aforementioned benefits as well as an improvement in cavitations.

Our power systems and transducers are developed exclusively by the wholly owned subsidiary Uthe Technology Inc.  For years, these patented power systems have provided steady voltage and amplitude output, which is of course ideal for ultrasonic applications.  Currently, Uthe is the world's leading manufacturer of semiconductor bonding power supplies and transducers controlling about 65 percent of the world market.

Cleaning tanks are designed and developed by both Martin Walter of Germany and by Crest Malaysia.  With our new patented silicon carbide designs, cleaning tanks are the latest recipient of Crest innovation.  These tanks virtually eliminate all cavitations erosion, while greatly improving the transmission of ultrasonic sound.  They last virtually forever, and can greatly reduce the total cost of ownership for tabletop units and specialty systems.  Like our stainless steel tanks, these vestibules come in a variety of sizes and shapes.  Additionally, our manufacturing division can arrive at custom sizes to meet the needs of all cleaning environments.

Our custom systems are designed in the United States and manufactured at our 65,000 sq. ft. state of the art manufacturing facility in Penang, Malaysia.  This facility has been broadly recognized as one of the most innovative and quality producing facilities in the ultrasonic industry.  Crest specialty and factory cleaning systems are brought to fruition with the same level of quality as our standardized products.  No other company makes more custom ultrasonic cleaning systems than Crest anywhere in the world.  From this location, we provide hundreds of machines a year, shipped throughout the world.  Service is powered by our global distribution network, with replacement parts and service either same day or next day away.  The combination of Crest Ultrasonic's vertical integration and global customer support network make for a compelling value proposition.
