Description
Chem-Crest 2003 is a heavy duty liquid detergent concentrate with a broad spectrum of uses on hard-to-clean contaminants. It is useful in many applications demanding removal of various tough contaminants from the automotive industry to general maintenance cleaning to heat exchangers, as well as others. Chem-Crest 2003 is mildly inhibited to help prevent flash rusting, and is free-rinsing.
Typical Contaminants Removed
Chem-Crest 2003 is effective on various contaminants such as oils, greases, particulate matter, carbon residues, dried-on fuel and crude fuel residues, as well as general contaminants.
Operating Conditions
Chem-Crest 2003 is typically used at 10% by volume in ultrasonic applications. Normal operating temperatures: 120°–180°F, dependent on the material makeup of the substrate and the contaminants being removed. Recommended rinsing water temperature: 110°–150°F. Contact your Crest representative for product-line specific recommendations.
Substrate Compatibility
Chem-Crest 2003 is safe on various metals, such as copper and steels, glass, plastics, hard rubber articles, and ceramics— when used as directed. It can be used with aluminum for short exposure periods to remove tough contaminants.
Availability
Chem-Crest 2003 is available in cases of (4) x 1-gallon plastic bottles, 5-gallon pails, 55-gallon containers, and custom bulk sizes.
