Description
Chem-Crest 2000X is a non-ionic ultrasonic liquid cleaner. It is capable of removing and dispersing various lubricants, lapping compounds, various machining residues, fingerprints, particulates, and typical contaminants of disk drives. It is free-rinsing and biodegradable.

Operating Conditions
Chem-Crest 2000X is typically used at 2–4% by volume. Concentration may be varied based on the type and age of the contaminants. Typical operating temperatures: 50–65°C. Chem-Crest 2000X is easy to rinse and leaves no residues when ultrasonically rinsed with deionized water.The ultrasonic frequency of the rinses is recommended to be 68 kHz, 132 kHz or higher. Contact your Crest representative for product-line-specific recommendations.
Substrate Compatibility
Chem-Crest 2000X is compatible with the HGAs or the HSAs in general, and is compatible with other metallic and plastic components of disk drives such as the sliders, coils, flexure cables, disk spacer, bulkhead connector header, magplate, motor nut, baseplate, cover, screws, O-ring, latch bracket, etc.
Availability
Chem-Crest 2000X is available in cases of (4) x 1-gallon plastic bottles, 5-gallon pails, and in 55-gallon containers.
