Chem-Crest SolvaClean is a unique, high-performing, non-flammable, azeotropic fluorinated solvent blend developed specifically as a safe, powerful, and environmentally favorable product for the critical cleaning of precision components and as a high purity carrier solvent. The robust azeotropic structure means that Chem-Crest SolvaClean can be continually recovered by distillation within the vapor degreaser or within an external recovery system. Chem-Crest SolvaClean is suitable for use in a vast range of cleaning and degreasing applications including engineered parts, electronic, optical, and medical components.

Chem-Crest SolvaClean removes oils, greases, hydrocarbons, paints , coatings, enamels, resins, drawing oils, adhesives, lapping compounds, fluxes and pastes, waxes, and ink markings. It is specifically designed to replace traditional solvents such as NPB, trichloroethylene (TCE), ozone depleting hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) like HCFC 225 ( Asahiklin AK 225) and HCFC 141b and high global warming potential (GWP) hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs).

Chem-Crest SolvaClean used at 100 % by volume in ultrasonic applications. Normal operating temperatures: Room temp to boiling (111.2 0 F), dependent on the material makeup of the substrate, and the contaminants being removed. Typically used in vapor degreasers outfitted to reclaim and reuse. Contact your Crest representative for product line specific recommendations.

Chem-Crest SolvaClean is safe on various metals, including aluminum, brass, bronze, copper, and steels, glass, and ceramics, when used as directed. Please ask your local representative for polymer compatibilities. Further material testing can be completed in the Applications Lab.

Chem-Crest SolvaClean is available in 5 gallon (50.7lb) pails , 55 gallon (529lb) drums, and custom bulk sizes.
